NCGPC is kicking off our 2022-2023 program season with our September program – a virtual event.  We are planning a combination of virtual and in-person events this year.  Stay tuned!  You will continue to hear from NCGPC regularly as updates are available.  Importantly, we want to continue to hear from you!  If you have ideas or feedback, or would like to help our Programs Committee or be involved in a different capacity, please contact us.

Over recent decades, the question of honoring donor intent has become paramount at charities. From Princeton to the University of Chicago to a small animal shelter in New Jersey, among many others, charities are grappling with how to best further their missions and abide by agreed-upon donor wishes. As reported in The Washington Post in September, and the topic of this presentation, Sibley Hospital is the latest example of a charity caught in the crosshairs of a controversy.
