Gift Acceptance Policies — Why, What & How?

In this presentation, Jonathan will provide an in-depth discussion regarding Gift Acceptance Policies, including:

  • Why charities should adopt them and why some do not;
  • What should be contained in them;
  • How to adopt or revise them;
  • How a well-designed Gift Acceptance Policy can empower Planned Giving teams

He will also walk through tools that highlight the more sensitive decisions Boards will need to make and the actions that development staff will need to take in order to comply with such policies.
