Georgetown University: Assistant Vice President for Gift Planning

(Added 09/28/2021)

Georgetown University’s Office of Advancement organizes all fundraising and alumni relations activities for the University. As it prepares to execute a $3 billion comprehensive fundraising campaign, it seeks an exceptional Assistant Vice President for Gift Planning (AVP) to oversee building a best-in-class deferred giving program that contributes significantly to generating philanthropic support. S/he will have the opportunity to consult leadership and unit officers on the most promising planned gifts and manage a portfolio of principal prospects. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President for Development, the AVP will build, inspire, and integrate a team that collaborates with main campus, medical center, and law center advancement on gift opportunities, and serves in a direct fundraising capacity on complex and interdisciplinary strategic opportunities. S/he will work closely with the most senior university leaders and administrators to transform and accelerate this specialized focus during Georgetown’s campaign and beyond.

ZRG Partners is pleased to present this outstanding professional opportunity to exceptional leaders with the ability to scale revenue programs and with expertise in estate and/or gift planning from a fundraising, legal, and/or financial planning perspective. The appointed AVP will be a senior leader within Georgetown’s Office of Advancement.
