Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales activity goals related to demo pitches, proposals, and signed contracts
  • Meet or exceed sales revenue targets via prospecting, pipeline funnel management, proposal development, and meeting management
  • Quickly gain comprehensive expertise in the Giving Docs product and value proposition
  • Use tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and other platforms to efficiently and rapidly generate prospect lists and grow the net new sales pipeline
  • Conduct prospect research and compile key insights to inform sales pipeline
  • Identify, contact, and schedule meetings with qualified sales prospects
  • Manage data quality, reports and dashboards, workflows, proposal and pitch development, email follow up, and other tasks related to a successful sales operation
  • Partner successfully with internal team and external partners to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Balance the needs of the business, prospective customers, current customers, and the internal team in all situations

About You

  • Experience with planned giving, either within a non-profit development department or with a vendor serving the planned giving community
  • Experience in B2B technology sales preferred
  • Documented track record of building and managing a pipeline of prospective donors and/or clients that increases number of proposals and creates net new opportunities within a growing organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable interacting with sales leads
  • Exceptional attention to detail; loves a to-do list and managing tasks
  • Tech savvy, comfortable working in databases, and familiarity with CRM and data tools
  • Skilled in using G Suite to coordinate team projects, including spreadsheets, documents, and presentations
  • Quick learner, self-starter, creative, resourceful, and ambitious
  • High degree of empathy, with a demonstrated ability to listen carefully to and engage meaningfully with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Desire to not merely meet customer expectations, but seek opportunities to delight
  • Excellent at working within teams to achieve ambitious goals
  • Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • High bar for quality, rigor, and integrity in your own work, as well as your colleagues’
  • Smarts, tenacity, fortitude, and drive to both uncover creative solutions to existing projects, and to help bring projects to fruition

Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000 with on-target earnings of up to $100,000, based on achieving revenue goals.
