Mentoring Program Committee

Join This Committee

Chair: Kara Barnes

To provide a mentor to a development professional who needs advice on planned giving, help with technical gift issues or just answers to general questions about development or office issues. Mentoring is also a valuable opportunity for veterans to share their professional experience and knowledge with new gift planners. In the end, both mentor and mentee benefit mutually from the mentoring relationship.

Solicit development professionals to act as mentors; announce availability of mentors at NCGPC meetings; match mentors with mentees; plan social networking events to bring the mentors and mentees together.
